POSITION SUMMARY:
Plans and provides programming at the Harbor Highlands Community Center, including staffing the youth center and maintaining a safe and engaging environment for youth participants, planning and staffing family nights and special events, and supervising building rentals by external users.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the Harbor Highlands Community Center
2. Maintain a safe and engaging enviorment during open hours for neighborhood youth
3. Plan and implement enrichment activites catered to youth’s interests and needs
4. Plans and leads monthly family nights and special events
5. Supervises the use of the Harbor Highlands Community Center by external groups

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience working with children.
2. Experience planning and leading programming for youth and adults
3. Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
4. Ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to plan, lead and participate in activities. Ability to use a computer and telephone. Ability to drive and be insured for driving a YMCA vehicle.
